TOCA Social Opens Its U.S. Flagship at Grandscape, Bringing Soccer, Food, and Live Matches to The Colony

TOCA Social's first U.S. location is open at Grandscape in The Colony, blending interactive soccer games with chef-driven food and match viewing.

Grandscape already draws residents from across Denton County for dining, retail, and events, but the opening of TOCA Social earlier this year added something the corridor did not have before: a full-scale, interactive soccer experience paired with chef-driven food and craft cocktails under one roof.

The U.S. flagship opened in early 2026 at Grandscape, the mixed-use development along the Sam Rayburn Tollway in The Colony. It is the first American location for the concept, which has built a following in the United Kingdom for combining skill-based soccer gameplay with a genuine hospitality program rather than treating the food and drink as an afterthought.

What TOCA Social Actually Is

The name comes from TOCA Football, a training technology platform co-founded by Eddie Lewis, a U.S. Men’s National Team veteran who competed in multiple World Cups. The social venue concept grew from that athletic background, and it shows in the design.

Guests play in bays where screens project targets, opponents, and game scenarios, responding to ball strikes in real time. The format is accessible to people who have never laced up cleats and engaging enough for players with competitive experience. Groups book bay time the way they might reserve a lane at a bowling alley or a bay at a golf simulator venue — making it a natural fit for corporate outings, birthday gatherings, and date nights alike.

The gameplay bays, however, are only part of the footprint. The venue also includes a large viewing area for live match broadcasts, so residents with a Premier League or Liga MX fixture on their calendar have a purpose-built space to watch it with other fans rather than crowding around a bar television.

The Food and Drink Program

The kitchen operates on a made-to-order, chef-driven model. The menu is designed to hold up whether guests are eating between bay sessions or settling in for a full match. Craft cocktails and a curated beverage list round out the offering.

For The Colony specifically, this matters because Grandscape has historically leaned toward fast-casual and counter-service options in its food mix. A venue that functions as a full-service restaurant and a ticketed entertainment destination simultaneously raises the ceiling on what a night out at the development can look like.

How It Fits the Grandscape Buildout

TOCA Social’s opening lands at a moment when Grandscape is adding square footage and concepts at a pace the development has not seen since its initial launch. The Rustic, the Dallas-born live music restaurant known for wood-grilled dishes and nightly performances, is also opening at the site this summer and fall. Costco is under construction at the corner of the Sam Rayburn Tollway and West Spring Creek Road, with a projected fall 2026 opening that will bring a high-traffic everyday retail draw to a development that has mostly attracted destination visitors.

Taken together, the additions are shifting Grandscape toward a model where a resident can handle a warehouse grocery run, sit down for a full dinner with live music, and book a soccer bay experience on the same trip to the same address. That kind of stacked-use density is relatively rare in the suburbs north of Dallas and gives The Colony a legitimate claim on regional entertainment traffic that previously defaulted to Frisco or Plano.

Planning a Visit

TOCA Social is open at Grandscape now. Bay reservations can be made through the venue’s website at tocasocial.com, where guests can also review the current food and beverage menu and check match-viewing schedules. Walk-ins are accommodated based on bay availability, but groups larger than four should book in advance, particularly on weekends when league matches draw viewing crowds.

Grandscape is located along the Sam Rayburn Tollway in The Colony. Parking on the property is free. The venue is accessible from both the tollway frontage and internal Grandscape drive lanes, and the site’s wayfinding signage directs visitors to the correct building from the main entry points.

For residents who have been watching the Grandscape footprint expand since the development first opened, TOCA Social represents the kind of addition that was always implied by the scale of the project — a flagship-caliber tenant that would not exist anywhere else in the immediate market and that gives people in The Colony a reason to stay local rather than drive south.
